Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of Smart Subcrates, a desktop application for Serato DJ operated by Jorge Calle in the United States. By installing or using the app, you agree to them.

Your licence

• Buying Smart Subcrates gives you a single-user licence to use the application.
• The software is licensed, not sold. We keep ownership of the software itself.
• Each licence activates on one computer. If you need it on a second machine, buy a second licence. If you replace or reset your machine, email us and we will free up your activation.
• Your licence includes updates to the application at no extra cost.

What you may not do

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, redistribute, resell, sublicense or share the application or your licence key.

What you need to run it

Smart Subcrates requires macOS 12 Monterey or newer, on an Intel or Apple Silicon Mac, and a working installation of Serato DJ to use the crates it produces. Please check that your Mac meets this requirement before buying. A Windows version is in development and is not yet available.

What the app does to your files

Smart Subcrates creates and updates .crate files in your Serato Subcrates folder. It does not move, rename, modify or delete your music files. Even so, keeping a backup of your Serato library before running any tool that writes to it is sensible, and we recommend it.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Their buyer terms apply to the transaction itself, alongside these terms. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

Warranty

Smart Subcrates is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that it will suit every library and workflow.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to Smart Subcrates is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost gigs, lost time or lost data.

Ending the licence

If you breach these terms, your licence may be revoked. You can stop using the application at any time.

Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top of this page shows when they last did.

Tu licencia

• Comprar Smart Subcrates te da una licencia de un solo usuario para usar la aplicación.
• El software se licencia, no se vende. Conservamos la propiedad del software.
• Cada licencia se activa en un computador. Si la necesitas en una segunda máquina, compra una segunda licencia. Si cambias o reinstalas tu máquina, escríbenos y liberamos tu activación.
• Tu licencia incluye las actualizaciones de la aplicación sin costo adicional.

Lo que no puedes hacer

No puedes aplicar ingeniería inversa, descompilar, redistribuir, revender, sublicenciar ni compartir la aplicación ni tu clave de licencia.

Qué necesitas para usarla

Smart Subcrates requiere macOS 12 Monterey o posterior, en un Mac Intel o Apple Silicon, y una instalación de Serato DJ para usar los crates que genera. Por favor verifica que tu Mac cumple este requisito antes de comprar. La versión para Windows está en desarrollo y aún no está disponible.

Qué hace la app con tus archivos

Smart Subcrates crea y actualiza archivos .crate en tu carpeta de Subcrates de Serato. No mueve, renombra, modifica ni elimina tus archivos de música. Aun así, es sensato mantener una copia de seguridad de tu librería de Serato antes de usar cualquier herramienta que escriba en ella, y lo recomendamos.

Compras

Las compras las procesa Lemon Squeezy como comerciante registrado. Sus términos de comprador aplican a la transacción, junto con estos términos. Los reembolsos se rigen por nuestra política de reembolsos.

Garantía

Smart Subcrates se entrega “tal cual”, sin garantías de ningún tipo, expresas o implícitas. No garantizamos que funcione sin interrupciones ni errores, ni que se adapte a toda librería o flujo de trabajo.

Limitación de responsabilidad

En la medida permitida por la ley, nuestra responsabilidad total ante ti por cualquier reclamo relacionado con Smart Subcrates se limita al monto que pagaste por tu licencia. No somos responsables de pérdidas indirectas o derivadas, incluidas presentaciones perdidas, tiempo perdido o datos perdidos.

Fin de la licencia

Si incumples estos términos, tu licencia puede ser revocada. Puedes dejar de usar la aplicación cuando quieras.

Cambios

Estos términos pueden cambiar. La fecha al inicio de esta página indica cuándo cambiaron por última vez.
